Around there or around here?

Dammit, if you are moving to Bishkek, you'd better take me with you. I mean it. Or at least let me come visit.

I think of perfumed delicacies and succulent Persian boys.

Does that mean you're going to start having sex again and/or stop implying that you don't? I'm sure there are literally five's of readers that would jump at the chance (that's not bitchy, I'm amongst the five).

- Mama, please say that Tommy and me...

- I'm gonna close the window.

- Mama, please sit and talk to me!

I'm goin', Mama.

And things are gonna change around here.

- Witch.

Moving to Israël with the Missus?

(Incidentally: “Asaf” – stress on first or second syllable? Also incidentally: In Hebrew script, that is the coolest-looking name ever with its word-final f.)

Eric -

Love your blog but it's Friday after a LONG week and I just can't work this hard. Figuring out the hidden meaning in this post may just put me over the edge. :)

I hope that no one ever doubts your devotion to Hellenistic Transoxiana.

This is an interesting post but you can't be someone who gets laid all that often...

Pulling out is a very ineffective form of protection.

Got into that M.B.A. program, did you?

Jason:

Do you really think that Rem is that good?

Posted by: Young Faruq at October 15, 2007 07:46 PM

Young Faruq -

You didn't ask me and I am FAR from an expert in architecture like you but know what I like. For me, Rem is hit and miss. I do like the Seattle Library, the "L" tube at IIT in Chicago and the Netherlands Embassy in Berlin, however.

Posted by: Boomer at October 16, 2007 11:14 AM

How good did you mean by "that good," my dear Young Faruq?
I admire Rem's thoughtfulness and intent; as for his architectural designs, I am fond of several.
